Help Us Build
a Visible & Visitable
Community of Reconciliation

Christ the Reconciler is an existing lay community of Catholics, Protestants, & Messianic Jews living out John 17 - Jesus’ prayer for all His followers.

After 20+ years of preparation, we are now asking for your help to build houses & a prayer chapel on our land near Austin, Texas.

Barn Dance! BBQ!

On November 22, we’ll launch this project in style! Come out to CTR for a good old-fashioned hoedown, complete with the best bbq you’ve ever had, called dances (you don’t need to know how to dance, learning on the fly is easy), the reveal of plans + budget, the opportunity to contribute time/talent/treasure, and an epic silent auction.

Tickets are available below, or if you just want to participate in the silent auction but can’t make the actual event you can also indicate that. Thank you!

30 minutes east of Austin* lies the small town of Elgin, Texas. And 7 minutes south of Elgin are 16.444 acres of land that we acquired in 2013, by the grace of God.

The vision is for this land to become a visible and visitable example of lived reconciliation.

The land in Elgin is already serving as the center of an intentional community devoted to living out John 17. We are Catholic, Protestant & Messianic Jewish. We have diverse ages, backgrounds, lived experiences, and political persuasions. But we live, work, and pray together - through the power of the Holy Spirit.
